It says I'm Frodo. I think the test is broken because I'm obviously Legolas.
Does anyone have the nerve?
Will Karnaj ever get off the toilet?!

Mr. Parcelan stumbled drunkenly to the keyboard and typed:
Will this be the first time Drysart gets timelined?
Bah. I did a search before I posted it.
Either way, it said was Aragorn back then, but now it says I'm Boromir.
Probably because I've gotten to be quite the asswipe lately
quote:
Boromir - The eldest son of the Steward of Gondor, and a warrior of some renown.Proud, strong and skilled in combat, Boromir travels to Rivendell in response to a dream he shared with his brother Faramir, and is included in the company of the Ring. Boromir was valiant in battle, as he proved in Moria.
However, Boromir had been tempted by the power of the Ring since he first learned of its whereabouts, and the temptation finally proved too much for him at Amon Hen, where he attempted to take the ring from Frodo by force.
He instantly repented, but his rant forced Frodo's immediate decision to leave the Fellowship, and strike out for Mordor on his own. Boromir was killed shortly thereafter, defending Pippin and Merry from a raiding orc-band.
But, I dun wanna die!
It is said that the Nazgûl were once powerful kings and sorcerers among Men and they were each given a Ring of Power by Sauron. These Rings were nine of the magical nineteen Rings that Celebrimbor and the Elven-smiths of Eregion forged for Sauron.
For many centuries these Men used their Rings to fulfil their own desires, yet all were ruled by the One Ring that Sauron made. Though these chosen Men lived by the power of the Rings far beyond the span of ordinary mortals, their forms faded. They roamed the World committing terrible deeds. They wore great cloaks, black and hooded, and hauberks of mail and silver helms, yet beneath were the grey robes of the dead and their bodies were invisible. They used spells of beckoning and spells of blasting sorcerous fire, and the curse of their Black Breath was like a plague of despair and the curse of its terror froze the hearts of their foes
A Dwarf of Erebor (also called The Lonely Mountain). The son of Gloin -- who was a companion of Bilbo Baggins in the Hobbit -- Gimli accompanies his father to Rivendell, and there is chosen to join the Fellowship of the Ring as a representative of the Dwarven people.
He aided Gandalf in leading the company through Moria. He was the first dwarf to enter Lorien since Durin's Day, and was held in awe by the beauty of the Lady Galadriel. He became very close friends with Legolas, and journeyed throughout Middle Earth with him after the War of the Ring.
Also after the War of the Ring, Gimli led a band of dwarvish smiths in reforging the gates of Gondor in mithril and steel, and he was the Lord of the Glittering Caves.

Gandalf is a poweful magician, and the worst enemy of the Dark Lord.Gandalf has been said to be the person most responsible for Sauron's downfall, labouring nonstop for roughly 2000 years to put an end to his reign. Gandalf was the bearer of Narya, the Ring of Fire, given to him by Cirdan when he arrived in Middle Earth.
Gandalf always held Hobbits near to his heart, and he also held their race in high regard. In the year 3001, he set in motion the Quest of Mount Doom. Gandalf was one of the most important people at the Council of Elrond, because he alone knew the full history of Sauron and the Ring. Although he fell battling the Balrog in Moria, he made his way back to Middle Earth as Gandalf the White to complete his errand.
He was responsible for casting Saruman out and taking over as the head of the White Council. After the War of the Ring Gandalf sailed from the Grey Havens with Elrond, Bilbo, Galadriel, Legolas and Frodo.

Bilbo was drafted by Gandalf into joining a quest to reclaim the lost kingdom of The Lonely Mountain. The story is told in The Hobbit, and it was during the course of this seminal quest that Bilbo found the One Ring, defeated Gollum, and in effect sparked the conflict that would later be told in the Lord of the Rings.
Bilbo returned to The Shire and retired to the life of a country gentleman until his nephew Frodo was old enough to inherit his estate, and take on the guardianship of the Ring. At that point Bilbo, now well into his senior years and feeling the restlessness that had been instilled in him by his experiences, decided to leave the Shire for the wild places he had come to love so well and ended up living with the High Elves of Elrond at Rivendell.

Frodo is a hobbit who, unasked, finds himself with the responsibility for the future of Middle-earth in his own hands. Or, more accurately, on his own fingers, for he is the reluctant keeper of the One ring, forged by the Dark Lord Sauron and holding the greater part of his power.
His comfortable, rustic exterior belies an inner resolve which will be tested to the full on his journey through Middle-earth to try and destroy the ring. Unbeknown to Frodo, a circle of his close friends form an alliance to ensure that he doesnt undertake the task alone.
This is the beginning of the Fellowship of the ring, which eventually will include Men of noble birth, an unyielding Dwarf, a High Elf and one of the greatest Wizards of the age. As his quest progresses, Frodo has to draw on the last reserves of his strength to combat increasingly horrific foes, and demonstrates the innate courage of the Hobbit folk.
I even look kinda dwarven in RL - I'm short, incredibly dense, and rather broad.
Sam Gamgee starts the story working as the gardener at Bag End, Frodos Hobbit dwelling. However, he is very much attached to his young master, and swears to protect him, however dangerous the road ahead.
Sam shows an increasing maturity and confidence as the tale unfolds, although he never loses his homespun wisdom and strong sense of right and wrong. If anything, he is slightly over-protective towards Frodo, but feels that this compensates for his masters compassionate and trusting nature. Sams almost child-like delight when he first encounters "true magic" makes him more endearing.
His bravery in the face of overwhelming odds shows once again the courage ingrained in Hobbits. Sams down to earth nature and obvious love of the simple things in life, like decent ale and plain food, strike a chord with readers.
The Queen of the elven realm of Lorien, and wife of Celeborn, called the Lady of Light, Galadriel is a wielder of great power and wisdom. Although of significant age, she appears as a beautiful young woman. Galadriel is considered one of the mightiest of the Eldar, and it because of her power alone that Lorien has remained a sanctuary against Sauron and his evil.
She rules her kind with benevolence and grace. She aids the Fellowship with special gifts and sound counsel, products of her power and wisdom. Frodo freely offered her the One Ring, and she refused. Because of this and her long opposition to Sauron, the Valar permitted her to return to Valinor.

quote:
You are most like...Sauron
Sauron is The Dark Lord and maker of the One Ring that holds power over all the others.
The most powerful being in Middle-earth, the evil Lord has put much of his own strength into the One Ring. As long as it still exists, Sauron cannot fully be destroyed. During his stay at Dol-Guldur, he was known as the Necromancer.
He was in a constant, sleepless search for the Ring, building his armies, and breeding fell races to do his bidding. His greatest servants were the 9, the Nazgul, servants of the Ring, and were Kings of old who had been ensnared into service by the Nine Rings of Men. Even though Sauron did not possess the Ring, its existence gave him enough strength to eventually overcome Middle Earth, and Gandalf and Elrond knew that the only decision was to destroy the Ring, a deed which Sauron had never thought of, and could not fathom.
