Over the last year and some, I've been lucky enough to have a good friend become a very close friend. And now we're moving to nearly opposite ends of the country.
Today as he dropped me off at my house and I stood out in the rain on my porch, waving and watching him drive away, I knew it would be likely be a very long time before I see him again.

Whoever it is that is working on a teleportation device needs to hurry the hell up.

Heh, the girl I was convinced I was going to marry in Pre-School moved away... that depressed me for a few weeks... heh. Ahh, puppy love...
Err, off the subject...
We tried the long distance thing. 300$ phone bills and letters everyday and driving back and forth between states was just too much. So we moved in together. It wasn't just so easy as saying it. But it was worth it.
Sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do. But it will work out. Really it will.

hmmm, mine come out somewhat intact...for about 15 minutes then they explode leaving chicken guts everywhere.

As for teleportation? They've got the disintegration down pat, its putting the person back together is the trick.

It rips at your soul not knowing how he is, tears at your dreams as you worry if he's still even alive. when he just stop sending emails... no way to get ahold of him...

I hate it when it happens.
I myself need a friend like you've described very badly.

Atleast you got to do all that stuff with him... I have to/had to settle with icq, eq, and the occational phone conversation. *sighs* he has a voice that could make me melt (and no we're nat talking about the same person )
