December 18th, i got it. didnt play till a couple days before christmas. Just beat it this afternoon. 
(and if anyone is wondering, me and deli have constantly been poking fun at each other over this game, and im just toying around with him right now...but yes, i am still better than him.)
1. do the lvl 99 sphere grid trick
2. get all celestial weapons
3. beat ultima and omega
4. get all 8 aeons
5. have at least 1 person have the whole grid covered
6. get all al bhed volumes
don't really have to, just it does really mean you have done everything in the game and totally beat it

no, that just means that you got everything in the game.
I have beaten the game, completed the story. now i have to go back to get all the little things
