Well . . . it sucks when you're a kid, because all of your presents are labeled "Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday!" and you only get half as many as you would if your birthday was in May, for example.
But it does mean you're never in a bind putting a birthday party together!
And it means never having to work on your birthday. (Sorry to those who do )

The company I work for gives employees their B-Day off. If it's on a weekend you choose the Monday after or the Friday before....
