As for race/class... *shrug* Whichever looks the most interesting to you... doubtful any of the combos I would find interesting to try would get any reaction other then 'no one plays that combo'

A full set of starting stuff is yours if you make a neutral non-druid on Sullon Zek.
I don't know if you'll stay long, but its a unique enough server to make EQ interesting again, as long as you don't take the game too seriously.
