The flame, were I to start it would be incredibly general, and basically a teardown/rebuild of what people know of paganism (ie, as it is practiced by those who follow it's traditions, not 12 year olds). But somehow, I don't think many people here would want to read all that, so...

If you find yourself feeling that you're somehow more important or "cooler" than people who don't worship your religion, perhaps you should re-evaluate your reasons for worshipping that religion.

People could put MARRY CHRISTMAS HAPPY HANNICHA (someone PLEASE correct the spelling.. i can never for the life of me get it right) Or even HAPPY KWANZA in along with this thread.. I'd be happy that we're all being happy with what we believe in..
It just pisses me off to no end that when someone asks a genuan question about Yule, some asses have to come in saying shit about it when I ment this to be something nice to people here on this message board...

I'll admit that I was wrong in assuming your motivations, but the fact of the matter is the Druidic religion has become an aspect of pop-sub-culture, if you will.
Many people adopt it for no other reason than to be able to seem different and mysterious, or, worse yet, to quickly gain the respect of a clique.
Unfortunatly for the legitimate worshippers of oak trees and mistletoe out there, these people are rather easy to mock.
