Kinda got the Anti-hero thing going on, similar to how Batman works. But I would trust Smith and Wesson, over an old guy named Alfred to make my tools.
The Punisher is not stupid enough to believe he's "Too honorable" to use a gun. He knows that not "Only a coward" uses weapons. Because, if the coward has a mac 10 and is 20 feet away, if you dont shoot back, you are going to have a few extra holes in ya.
And he has a soft spot for kids.
As for people ripping on GL...Let's see. Mort likes Dr Doom? So Doomy, get rid of Reed Richards yet? No? better go feed that obsession.
Beast has superhuman powers. Strength, agility, reflexes all beyond human norm. One could argue he has superhuman intelligence, but he doesn't. He's just peak intelligence for a human.
Batman is a superhero for no other reason than he handles the same threats powered heroes handle. Batman is the guy who everyone turns to when the chips are down, not because he's stealthy or a badass. They turn to him because he's a thinker. He gets his mind wrapped around a problem and solves it. That is Batman's greatest strength.
The runner up was this guy from the Hitman comic who would always carry around a glass pane because his special power was throwing people through glass windows. That guy was awesome.
I would have to say the Joker, as she was in those comics. A dozen different faces, but hidden beneath them all is just lonelyness and suffering trying to do what's right.
