You gotta love BG2.

Playing it through again, this time with a largely evil party. Finally, I can be snippy and pompous to everyone!

I felt guilty giving Jaheira the boot, but I wanted to try my hand at getting my freak on with Viconica instead. Plus I wanted a pure priest for healing purposes.

BTW, where can I find Edwin and a decent theif to replace Yoshimo?

You felt guilty booting that ho? Dang, I threatened to leave her there in the first place! And since then she hates me. But I kicked her out when I got Viconia.

And Aerie lies in yummy ogre chunks on the floor.

(I felt guilty for the Aerie part, though, having gone through the romance with her)

My swashbuckler got it on with Viconia, and I even had keldorn in the party.

As for a good thief, there arent any, lol.

You have imoen, yoshimo, and nalia, thats it.

No real good ones. Yoshimo is good till ya get imoen back though. He is the only non-multiclassed thief.

That's so gei. Maybe I can dual-class someone.

Jaheira's spastic attitude toward you is very irritating (if understandable), which kind of puts me off of her. (She looks very good, though, and I dig that accent, even if she sounds like she's going to quote Dracula at any minute.)

Viconia's actually worse with the whold "love me, hold me, get the fuck away from me asshole, come give me a kiss" bit, although if you dig at it there is a decent person in there. (She is the least evil of the three evil NPCS in my opinion, because she is what she is because of circumstances. Korgan and Edwin are evil because they want to be.)

Aerie is whiny and clingy and just overall confused, but once she gets a backbone and stops whining, she's perky and enthusiastic and much more enjoyable to have around.

As to the thief problem, your only solutions are to bring Jan, be ready to go through a fuckload of potions to boost skills, or make your own thief. The only pure thief is Yoshimo, and you can't rely on him for story reasons. However, if you decide to make your own thief, then you can dual-class them out once they've got their skills to a point you like. I'd suggest getting lockpicking and trapfinding to at least 125 (difficulty multiplers). If that's insufficient, you can use a potion.

But Jan is a GNOME!

And he is still multiclassed. No better than any other thieves. I still would prefer yoshimo, While he may not be a regular thief (bounty hunter) he still gets more thief points than Jan who has to split xp between two classes

Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.

My half-elven fighter worked his mojo with Aerie.

My human cleric got it on with Viconia.

I beat the game 3 or 4 times, I think heheh.

Twice with different half-elven fighters.
