Its-->Possessive word
It's-->Contraction of it is
There-->Go over there.
They're-->They're having a blast.
Their-->Their money left them after spending it hookers and alcohol.
To-->I'm going to the store to buy pie.
Too-->Not only are you ugly, you're stupid, too.
Finally, my last point, which is really more of a spelling thing. It's dammit, contradictory to damnit. This rule applies in America, though, I think.
I know I'm fighting a lost battle, but shut up. =P I don't know why, but grammar problems (not sentence fragments or run-ons, since they atleast do not much change the meaning of a sentence) really bug me.
Just take this post lightly.

You really ought to do something about fixing that. I think it's the second time this week you've had that problem.

No, actually, it wouldn't be. It would be OC if I was spending a great deal of time perfecting my posts, not the posts of others.

I don't pester people about bad grammar. This was just a lightly taken thread that I hoped might clear up the speech just a bit.
Oh well, forget it, monkies are too stupid to understand anything.

"Damnit" is the correct spelling. "Dammit" is, at best, a colloquialism.
Every dictionary I've checked has either no entry on this or "dammit". None of them have damnit.

Sadly, you are correct. It's a recent phenomenon, but the corruption does seem to be standard, now.
Seems kind of silly, to me.

Well, if we wanna get nitpicky, the best way would be "damn it." "Damnit" or "Dammit" are rationalizations, believe it or not, stemming from the idea being that "damn it" is blashempy (asking God to damn something). If you write it as one word, you could convince yourself that it's somehow less bad. Then, you say it as one word, and it's not blasphemic.
Same goes for "God damn it."
But damn it, that's just my view.

i(<---mistake) type and spell correctly when it really matters. Here the only thing i think that matetrs is getting a point across..if you would like i can type like MOG for a while till you beg that i use my shattered grammer as apposed to that monstrosity.
its just more comfortable for me
besides apostrophes are a pain in the ass to type all the time
If I hear one more person say 'acrosst' instead of 'across' I am going to strangle them with my ponytail, then assault them with my bunnyears.
Then do a riverdance upon their forehead. The end. Narf!
