Thing is, I dont know WHAT game I will be buying.

PS2:

MGS2 (Rented it, but didnt like it too much. may wait for it to go on previously played at blockbuster)
Baldurs Gate: Dark Alliance
PC:
Ghost Recon

Star Wars: Galactic Battleground
XBOX:
Nothing picked, suggesstions?
OK, these are just games i was thinking of, if anyone wants to suggest any one of them, or if they have played something not on the list thats good, lemme know.

PC: SoL is all you need for now. The rest of what you listed is only really fun as multi-player.
XBOX: Halo is fun multi-player and the FIRST time you play through the game... though I must admit the extra scene added in the ending for beating it on the hardest setting was worth all the bitching it made me do on the way. THPS2x is fun, but wears out my thumb pretty quickly. DOA3 is cool until you unlock all the endings and find out it doesn't do anything like unlocking characters or anything. I mean, you can Unlock EIN, but that's just another Hayate... woo. Fun as multiplayer though.
Save the money for FFX coming out soon or State of Emergency coming out in January =)
But if I were you, I'd get MGS2..I have only seen the back cover of Tsuangi though

For X-Box, PGR is pretty damned cool, and the soundtrack rocks. And, oddly enough, Munch's Oddysee is freakin' hilarious--the best incarnation of a platformer I've seen.
Haven't seen anything intriquing for PC recently.

I hate platform games with a passion, but Munch's plays more like a 3rd-person adventure/puzzle. The graphics are exquisite. And it's hilarious. The characters are constantly muttering like Popeye. Great sound, too. Plenty of lavish cut-scenes, but not so many you feel like you're watching instead of playing.

Galactic Battlegrounds has none of those. Add in HORRIBLE scenery that makes your eyes hurt, and worse graphics than those on Command & Conquer 1, and you see what comes out of the Lucasarts pot-smoking meeting.

I thought Galaxies was worse than FC, though FC hasn't worked forever, and it won't work in 800x600 on my comp....
