I get about 3 useful luclin spells as a mage:
1)Transon's Phantasmal Protection. 23 AC/5HP regen/3 Mana regen a tick
2)Veil of Elements: Level 54, Improved invis
3)Elemental Blanket: Shoulder resist item
Im not too terribly happy about the Summon Phantom Armor line though. Lets us summon store bought type armor...leather chain or plate. Droppable and such, but we cant wear any of it. So its only use is giving to newbies in newbie scities (provided they arent already twinked with somethin better)

There is no "Turn about is fair play" here. Why? Because I am a god damn hybrid and I dont really rely on my spells that much. Not to mention there was stacking issues with Ranger Spells in Velious, but they got fixed, so I assume there are still tweaks to come to our spells. Luclin has been playable for no more then 24 hours, so I havent looked at everything yet and am still looking into some stuff. The alternate exp seems to be adjustable in 10% increments so that you can funnel part or all exp from expierience giving mobs(ie light blue, blue) to you alternate skills. As my player is 55 atm I'm switching all over to alternate exp to take advantage of some sweet spots before I level and mobs turn green.
There are maps up at eqatlas allready, I suggest u find them. The maps included are deceptive and the zones are huge.
All in all in my opinion very nice...
