Make the Visited Link color not be so close to the default text color, so I can see which are links and which is not, even after visiting them.

Thats changable yourself.. Somewhere in the tools menu for IE, I think..

You can set the defaults in your Internet Options. The webmaster defines link colors for his page in the HTML.

Unless the webpage specifically note it, IE uses the default hyperlink colours.

Tools > Internet Options > colours..

Mine are the same as above.

I don't have IE set to always override because I presume most webmasters who change the defaults I have set, do so for a reason.
