I walk into KC, and check the spawns via sight. I never ooc or shout anything, I just walk up to the usual camps to see if anyone is there, count the people and wander off.
I usually end up sitting in/near captain, helping when I can.
So, I'm sitting in Cap when I get invited.. I say "Ah well, Cant kill me, right? 
" and join, proceeding to beat on the current mob.
Group is a druid, two rangers, Me, chanter, and a cleric.
One of the rangers pulls a huge train, we all zone, come back. the ranger that pulled was outside trying to heal my 2k hps with his wussy 90 hp/pop... Good intentions, not worth it.
I just ask 'em to stop as I use my DW helm to heal, then we all head back inside, and get back to business. The druid had died during the train.. big hand or something. Anyway..
After she's rezzed, I throw the heals and basic buffs on her to keep her semi-alive till the cleric gets some semblance of mana back. A mob gets pulled, we fight and (phew!) i'm down to 2 bubbs, using DW helm. (was out of mana from healing the druid).
The other ranger starts healing me, and I just ask 'em to stop, I can do it without mana. Apparently the druid and the ranger are involved, and she (the druid) takes offence to my comment.
Anyway, more mobs get pulled as I'm being buffed with Reso, SoW, Naltron (I even fork over a Peridot to the cleric for putting Naltron up), etc, and I ask why I was getting them when I wasnt getting hit on as much as the two rangers..
The cleric goes LD, and the druid says "Oh, now you made her leave, arent you just great". I say "What? how do you know she went LD on purpose?" "Oh, She's sitting right next to me". She then proceeds to disband me from the group.
I was not rude to anyone, I fought when fighting was needed, i didnt break mez, I didnt get anyone killed (Hell, I spent 5 mins searching for the druid when she was below 1 bub, ready to LoH her before she died), and I get booted out of the group..
God damn, sometimes it SUCKS being a paladin.
