Eh, I stopped caring about the Simpsons something like 2 seasons ago.

It's all about Futurama, baby!

I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

The Simpsons is hilarious. The 2 greatest episodes are the one where they go to Japan, and the one where Homer becomes a missionary.

Lisa: "Hooray! The Simpsons are goin' to Japan!"
*GONG!*
Worker: "'Ey, watch the gong, jerks."

Homer: "You're a heathen if you don't believe in Jebus!"
Bart: "Dad, have you been licking toads?"
Homer: "I've not not been licking toads!"

Hear hear!

But that doesn't start for awhile.
Once Futurama starts again, I'll be watching the old episodes on my computer. And you all will be hearing more quotes coming from me.

(patiently waits for the obligatory, "COBRAS!" running gag to start)
Once more into the breach, my friends, once more. We'll close the wall with our dead. In peace, nothing so becomes a man as modesty and humility, but when the blast of war blows in our ears, then imitate the action of the tiger, summon up the blood, disguise fair nature with rage and lend the eye a terrible aspect.

Those are part of different lineups. I watch them too. Plus Spaceghost: Coast to Coast. And the Brak Show.

Simpsons was good the first few seasons, but it seems like they're losing their edge a little. But they still come up with a good episode every once in a while, and even their mediocre episodes have a few good moments. Won't quote any Simpsons lines here, or I won't be able to stop... well OK, one, from the Troy McClure Q&A special...

"The Simpsons will always have a home here, until the writers run out of ideas or the show becomes unprofitable."

Both seem to be happening, the second because of the first. I think Simpsons may only have a season or two left. Unless as they can keep the ratings up, they'll be around, but the show's starting to show wear and tear. But I'm sure the writers can come up with a few more good moments before the era ends.

As for tonight's episode, it was OK, not their best work, but OK. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd say 7, 7 1/2 maybe. Loved the Judge Judy satire.

Simpsons is still one of the best shows on TV, though that isn't saying much given the quality of most TV shows. Still its pretty good. Not as good as Futurama though, Futurama can make me physically laugh out loud, which isn't the easiest thing to do. Even so, I never watched either of them that much, I was just too damn lazy to remember when they were on and watch them, however, with the help of my little friend called Morpheus, I downloaded every single episode. The reason I think Futurama is funnier is it can do handle situations then the realm of the Simpsons can reasonably manage. Matt Groening is a genuis in any case.

Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.
