Considering my typing is a modified version of hunt & peck I feel I did pretty damn good.

My asecret is that I actually KNOW where the keys are. I just look at the keyboard and don't use the keyboarding style. It's a confidence thing.

The thing is, it doesnt count mistakes. I corrected all mine.

The typing test I took at the temp agency did count mistakes, cause you had a certain thing you had to type up and it counted when you backspaced, misspelled, etc.

I look at the keyboard when I type.
Which means tests that make me copy something are heavily biased against my typing style. This kind of test is the only kind that measures my true speed, which is when I'm typing from my mind, like I am right now.

Typing isn't just pecking random keys. It's forming words and that type of test doesn't gauge your ability to do that, so it's a bad way to really tell how good you type :P

If you use a real typewriter now that's the real test. To type without making any mistakes.
Ending up being some odd little story about a book.

You will then see the difference.
