Well. Half-Life does indeed rock your proverbial socks. Opposing Force is at least as good, if not better.

You don't know suspense 'till you're facing down a veteran commando fire team, with half a clip of 9 mil. and a crowbar...

I never reached the end of the single player because I found THE OPERA!

OPERA ROCKS!

The Opera needs single player! THAT would kick ass.

Get Half-Life: Blue Shift. Very nice expansion, and it updates all the graphics in Half-Life and Half-Life: Opposing Force.

I have all the expansions, I LOVE HALF-LIFE.

High-res textures. The scientists, guards, soldiers, and aliens look a LOT better.
