I have a communications assignment due soon and I need to ask people I either have never met before or never seen before in RL. So you all will do great.

I have five questions I needed answered.

1. What is clarity? (your own Def.)

2. How do you perceve Clarity?

3. How do you react when something is unclear?

4. How do you implement the need for clarity?

5. Why do people need Clarity?

This is important to me and this is serious. You are being used in a small study.
(p.s. thanks you in advance for your cooperation)

Disclaimer: I'm weird in real life too.

1. What is clarity? (your own Def.)

Clarity is peace of mind and understanding.

quote:

2. How do you perceve Clarity?

I don't really - it just shows up eventually.

quote:

3. How do you react when something is unclear?

Do something until it becomes clear. 'Something' depending on what it is that is unclear.

quote:

4. How do you implement the need for clarity?

I don't - things don't necessarily have to be clear to me to be able to work with them or interact with them. It just makes it more difficult.

quote:

5. Why do people need Clarity?

To function better?

Hope that helped heh

Damn, too bad I can't get PSY105 research credit for doing this, but oh wells.

I know this is serious... but I want to have some fun too ... so my real answers are in normal text, my goofy answers are in italics

1. What is clarity? (your own Def.)
Clarity is that state of being able to understand and ratonalize your oberservations without being confused about any of the details of them
Clarity is mind candy

2. How do you perceve Clarity?
I'm not sure if you CAN perceive clarity. Perhaps the best way to percieve clarity is to observe the lack of befuddlement, confusion, or uncertainity in a situation.
You see 'A cool breeze slips thru your mind'

3. How do you react when something is unclear?
I ask for clarification of the details, or attempt to explain the uncertainties myself
crack plz thx

4. How do you implement the need for clarity?
Uhm, I'm not sure. Perhaps by stating that details need to be unobscure. I'm not really sure if I understand the question, you aren't making it clear what kind of answer you want
You start casting spells

5. Why do people need Clarity?
Because people dont like being confused
Cause its crack dammit!

And you can still be free, If time will set you free
And going higher than the mountain tops
And go high like the wind don't stop...

1. Clarity is being understandable.

2. Clarity is not mumbling, calmly speaking, and having a clear point.

3. I ask them to repeat it or restate it.

4. Uh.....I'm not good at that. By speaking slower?

5. Because you need to get the right information across.

Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.

Cadga, Comm and Psych classes often require students to go and do surveys for thier final papers/projects. Depending on what sick, twisted final project my Psych teacher makes us do, you might see a survey from me on the boards.

1. What is clarity? (your own Def.)
A moment or state of understanding. Illumination.

2. How do you perceve Clarity?
Clarity is something that all people strive for, yearn for. It is a moment when everything you are thinking of finally comes together for you, and you truely understand. People have been searching for this by various means throughout history. The quest for Clarity and Illumination is a driving force behind mankind's higher thoughts.

3. How do you react when something is unclear?
Investigate, and try to make sense of it. If this isn't possible, I often withdraw from it till I can make some sense of what is unclear.

4. How do you implement the need for clarity?
Find the facts, and understand them. Understand the people involved as best I can. Attempt to discover the answers to any questions I may have.

5. Why do people need Clarity?
Confusion can lead to anger, fustration, and fear. Clarity brings with it a moment of tranquility, as everything suddenly makes sense.

I don't know if that's exactly what you are looking for, but that's my answers. Odds are, what you want IS in there somewhere, you might have to look for it a bit though.

I don't know if you need more, but here goes...

1. What is clarity? (your own Def.)
Clarity is undestanding, or the ability to perceive clearly.

2. How do you perceve Clarity?
Clarity is achieved when understanding on an object, real or abstract, is reached between two subjects.

3. How do you react when something is unclear?
I generally attempt to redefine how I am thinking about it. When speaking to another person this generally results in a large number of examples, and an attempt to listen more closely, and to loose any assumptions of word usage on my part.

4. How do you implement the need for clarity?
There is no need to implement the need for clarity. Without clarity there is no communication.

5. Why do people need Clarity?
See answer number 4. What seperates people from animals is our ability to percieve things that are beyond our immediate experiences. The only way to do this is through communication of abstract ideas.

A three syllable word. Any further meaning is dependent upon context.

2. How do you perceve Clarity?

With cognitive reason

quote:
3. How do you react when something is unclear?

Nothing is unclear to the clear mind.

quote:
4. How do you implement the need for clarity?

The clear mind has no need for clarity.

How many answers do you need for your survey?

quote:
1. What is clarity? (your own Def.)

Clarity is that moment when an idea or concept one has been struggling with suddenly makes sense.

quote:
2. How do you perceve Clarity?

(In myself, I'm assuming, yes?) A sudden release of tension as a certain thought process or way of thinking is suddenly easier to understand.

quote:
3. How do you react when something is unclear?

I ask for further explanation or examples, or seek further knowledge on my own through various research methods.

quote:
4. How do you implement the need for clarity?

I'm not exactly positive what you're asking for here. The answer I *think* I would give here would be identical to the answer in #3. If you're looking for something different, please elaborate.

quote:
5. Why do people need Clarity?

To further our understanding of other people and ideas. To facilitate the accomplishment of common goals, rather than working at odds with each other, when both parties actually wanted the same end result.
