Making you want 3 new swords
I really like SWORD OF DARKNESS II.
If only I was old enough to order them, you gotta be like 18 right??
I want them all!
not fancy, but damn good... tempered carbon spring steel, length 38", weight 3 1/2 lbs
[edit: just noticed, that sword fits nicely to my sigpic too hehe] [ 09-29-2001: Message edited by: Niklas ]
But for something I was going to live or die by, I'd splurge and get Jim Hrisoulas of Salamander Armory to make me a proper pattern-welded sword. His site, here is a bit out of date, but his work speaks for itself.
Sar...

That's what all mine are made from. Pity it's so damn heavy, but it's fantastic for building up the forearm
Nice little piece.... It's the only 'real' sword I have. I have a few others, but they're mass produced display pieces... This one at least has personality...

Helluva lot more than the hardened leather I prefer to wear. Not as tough, but more protective than D&D will lead you to believe, and a damn sight lighter, once more for quicker movement. I like to fight fast.
Other than that, my team likes to push me into "unbreakable" enemy formations, bastards. Yeah yeah, pick on the guy who can't move more than a few metres a minute, bastards
I feel like I'm trying to fight underwater. So slow! And I wear out alot faster, too. Hell, might as well just gimme a greatsword at that point, then tag a sign on me that says, 'Walking corpse'
Nopenope. It's fight light for me. Hardened leather, and either twin maces or a glaive.

Heh. My roommate collects swords (we use his Tanto as a pizza cutter). I prefer "blunt" weapons, and I have a pair of maces. They are not pretty, or expensive, but they can get the job done. Barring them,I use an aluminium baseball bat, or extending baton.
About the only weapon we both like are boken (sp?).
OR
But they're VERY expensive and nothing for a poor 15 year old i'm afraid

Good choice! Sort of an oriental version of the glaive...which is my favourite weapon overall! Lightweight for a polearm, but capable of doing quite a bit of damage, and versatile in it's ability to both thrust and slash...I love polearms in general, but glaive more than anything else.
