GM's are there to make a buck
One thing about Verant that I've never complained about is the CS reps. (not the PR reps mind you, but the CS reps)
They've always been polite and well informed. In fact, I've only had one experience with a kinda dumb guide, and even that one resulted in a resolution to my issue. [ 09-22-2001: Message edited by: Maradon? ]

Guides are volinteers. GMs are paid. There is one GM per server, thats it. Most huge problems, guides cant deal with.
Whats the point of this? Dont remember. Just dont be rude to guides. They cant do anything about it, and believe me, many want to.
The communication between SOE and the Guide program is not much better then the communication between SOE and the player base.

i forget who i was with but he and i were trying to hunt at the ruins in Queynos Hills.
the bitch is, there was a level 54 Elementalist there who thought that the only way to get pzgin to spawn was by keeping only Dread Corpses popped.
what happened was that whenever i would pull one he'd send in his pet which would double smack it for something along the lines of 50-something each hit.
so, i petitioned. i was expecting the useual response of mabey a guide to come and bitch at him.
well, as it turns out every single guide on the server at the time and the Lead GM of the server with two GM lackeys showed up. i think there were 5-6 green names there at once. i guess there had been a problem about Pyzjin going on....
