Oh, well you should of just said, "I'm sorry, I don't find that funny because of such and such," in the first place. But I think the way you said it sounded sort of like an offense, like you were saying it wasn't funny.

I was. Saying it wasn't funny, at least. To me. I wasn't trying to start anything.
But it seems to have become if you don't share the same ideas of what's funny with those in charge around here, then you just shouldn't say anything at all. Because it appears no one can have a differing opinion without getting attacked or belittled.
