Okay, I'm getting paid in two days, my first paycheck in four months. While the majority of this check is going towards my car payment, I should have some extra cash left over to spend on ME, with most of my next check after it going towards my other debts.

This said, I'm undecided between the purchase of two games :

Anarchy Online,
Diablo 2 Expansion

Which of these two do you people recommend I get?

I'd say AO. It'll last you longer.

D2 expansion is great, but it's no MMORPG.

If you are feeling social

AO

If you are feeling like a hackfest

Diablo 2X

If you want to contribute to the prairie dog population

The choice is obvious.

Give it to me.

Hmmm. Mort : That depends on which of the two games you'd be buying for me, if I gave it to you

Hm, of the two I'd say AO, but consider Baldur's Gate 2 and the Throne of Bhaal addon if you don't already have them. BG owns the living jeebus out of everything that Blizzard ever made combined(ok, except for starcraft, I admit that one was good).
Life... is like a box of chocolates. A cheap, thoughtless, perfunctory gift that nobody ever asks for. Unreturnable, because all you get back is another box of chocolates. You're stuck with this undefinable whipped-mint crap that you mindlessly wolf down when there's nothing else left to eat. Sure, once in a while, there's a peanut butter cup, or an English toffee. But they're gone too fast, the taste is fleeting. So you end up with nothing but broken bits, filled with hardened jelly and teeth-crunching nuts, and if you're desperate enough to eat those, all you've got left is a... is an empty box... filled with useless, brown paper wrappers.

Mortious owns the entire Baldur's Gate series, and still says they're some of the best PC RPG's ever made

D2x. The lack of 10 bucks will free it up for a ANOTHER game purchase! YAY!
Grammar is your enemy! - While being able to understand someone's sentences might seem like a good idea for a proper essay, complaining on a forum scarcely leaves time for such trivialities. Write fast! You're angry, grrr! Make that show, and forget about things like capital letters, punctuation, and verbs.

AO, without a doubt. The solo game is great, if you're not feeling that social, too.
