The minibosses is the name of a band that takes old video game songs from nintendo (metroid, contra, wizards & warriors), and plays them on there guitars and such, and as old, cliche-ish,and dumb as it sounds.. it's actualy pretty damn good! I say you check it out

This deserves a bump because it's cool, now to convince my dad to take me to one of the shows.

Most of what I heard is cool, but I DESPISE what they did with the Metroid music! What gave the origional its great feel was the cool, clear, almost quiet sound it had due to the clear, clean synth sounds. They cluttered it up, and made it "messy".

After playing for 16 hours (the headache got worse if I looked away from the screen), that music quietly filled the darkened room in which I was playing, creation the feeling of quiet space all around me. Their version just can't do that, it's too "busy".

Other than that, I find their music a nice and interesting change of pace. Now, if they would only do a remake of the Rivervale music.....

They did a damn good job on the Kraid-Metroid song... but if your talking about the Metroid-Fatso song... then yeah, they fucked that one up
