So who's looking for a game to join? Try to put in as much info as possible, so that prospective gamemasters and dungeonmasters can see the full spread of their potential player pool. Answering the questions below should give a good idea of what you're looking for.
>> What character class do you prefer, and why? List more than one if you'd like.
>> If you had a choice of a game with lots of roleplay and almost no combat, or lots of combat and minimal roleplay, which would you choose?
>> What aspect of the game motivates you? Do you like a campaign that makes you cry, a game that makes you laugh, or a game where you have to explore?
>> How much experience do you have with D&D? Have you played before? Are you looking for a game where you can learn?
>> Do you prefer a game that runs like a story? Or would you rather a more rigid environment? How much moderation by the GM do you feel comfortable with?
If you have anything else you'd like to add, feel free. The more you say, the better. Oh, and answer the poll, too [ 02-22-2003: Message edited by: Ford Prefect ]

Thiefs mainly, you can have very few limits on what you have to do, and what you can try.
>> If you had a choice of a game with lots of roleplay and almost no combat, or lots of combat and minimal roleplay, which would you choose?
Somewhere inbetween.
>> What aspect of the game motivates you? Do you like a campaign that makes you cry, a game that makes you laugh, or a game where you have to explore?
Almost Anything.
>> How much experience do you have with D&D? Have you played before? Are you looking for a game where you can learn?
A little, not that much, I know the rules, but I have played relativly little.
>> Do you prefer a game that runs like a story? Or would you rather a more rigid environment? How much moderation by the GM do you feel comfortable with?
Really depends on what the GM can pull off, either if they are fun.
But I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS miss out, or my spot is given away at the last minute, or something. like 4 or 5 games ive tried to get in on now I've missed out on for one reason or another :/ IF I join one, I actually want someone that will stand by their words and let me play, instead of not waiting for me to come to the chat room the night I said I'd be there and boot me out, or something.
HEre are the question answers:
>> What character class do you prefer, and why? List more than one if you'd like.
I can and am willing to play most anything.
>> If you had a choice of a game with lots of roleplay and almost no combat, or lots of combat and minimal roleplay, which would you choose?
Either would work for me, Im not picky.
>> What aspect of the game motivates you? Do you like a campaign that makes you cry, a game that makes you laugh, or a game where you have to explore?
The ability to actually play with people I consider friends. I enjoy most anything in a game.
>> How much experience do you have with D&D? Have you played before? Are you looking for a game where you can learn?
I've played before, but not had a chance to play lately due to one thing or another keeping me from being allowed in games.
>> Do you prefer a game that runs like a story? Or would you rather a more rigid environment? How much moderation by the GM do you feel comfortable with?
Again, either work. I just want to freakin play. [ 02-22-2003: Message edited by: Falaanla Marr ]

And my game kind of crashed from all my players going MIA. Or at least MIA in regards to interest.

What aspect of the game motivates you? Do you like a campaign that makes you cry, a game that makes you laugh, or a game where you have to explore?
Makes me laugh!
How much experience do you have with D&D? Have you played before? Are you looking for a game where you can learn?
Not much. Yes. YES I AM but I usually can't make it because I have a life you LOSARS (((
Do you prefer a game that runs like a story? Or would you rather a more rigid environment? How much moderation by the GM do you feel comfortable with?
Oodles of GM moderation, in form of interaction with the characters. Because most players left on their own would just be silly.
