TNX!First off my children are in the custody of my parents due to the fact that me and my wife are not stable as parents at the moment. Shes mentally a basketcase, she abused and put me down. I snapped one day and after she punched me i grabbed her wrist and put her on the floor. Her being a woman got me arrested and the police belived nothing i said. We are seperated now until our lives are in order, divorce hasnt been discussed we are worrying about our kids and getting our lives in order. I care not about what she does anymore. She has proven time after time that she will do whatever she pleases with no concern for me and the kids. FINE. I dont have time for that. I moved back in with my parents until i can get my own place. FINE. I dont want it like this but it might be better this way.
I dont want to be alone. I want to settle down. IM afraid that if me and my wife call it quits 100% i will not find a woman worthy of calling my wife. Dont give me the nice guy shit. Its bull. I dont care about looking super athletic and hunky. Its not me. I like computers and relaxing. I like a simple life, i care for people for who they are and what they value and only place a small value on physical attraction. Beutiful people do make me happy much in the same way a nice car does. They look nice but i wouldnt want one. Envy isnt something i like to deal with. I made the mistake of putting physical too high in my needs, i ended up marrying a woman who is very attrative on the outside but a Witch inside. I think im fair;ly attrative and in general a nice person. I dont want another shallow person in my life. IM a man but i care about things that a stereotypical man shouldnt. Feelings, and a rather mundane life.
BORING IS GOOD FOR ME. I dont like things to be complex i want to work come home eat dinner and watch fucking Conan Obrian and goto bed. THATS ABOUT IT. Simple and boring. I need and want someone to share that with and i thought Vikki was it. She wants to be a social giant, i like to socialize but i dont wanna run my life like that. I dont like bars i dont like clubs id rather goto a movie and have a quiet dinner at home talking about the kids and what color to paint the spare bedroom.
Thats what i want but every woman i talk to wants a badboy, they want someone to rock thier world. I can do that but im not going to break my back looking great for someone that may just break my heart again. Good guys finsih last sure, good things come to those that wait. Its always the people that have everything they want saying it.
IM sick of the games, im sick of competing to impress people, i dont care how long your dick is, i dont care if you have a nice car and house it doenst impress me. If you get a girl i like with those things fine i didnt want that shallow cunt anyway. The inside matters and i want someone to love me for that and i shall love them in return. I know i sound like a whiney prick but after a 4 year marrage and 2 kids i kinda wanna settle down and build a life.

While it may take you a while to find that right partner, it will happen. When you show your positive side, you can be a funny, admirable guy. Social queens may be exciting and interesting for a while, but they're always more concerned about their own popularity than anything else, essentially they never grew out of the clique system they established in grade school. Opposites attract may work sometimes, but you'd be better off trying to find someone who shares enough of your interests so that you work well together, but different enough so that life is interesting.
On the financial side, it may be tough now to get started again, but when consumer confidence is finally restored and stocks begin to rise again, more and more stuff will open up, so hang in there.
Your a great guy and you don't deserve what's happening. I've read all your posts about the topic and remained silent because I can't think of what to tell you. I think I can maybe offer some support, much like the other ECers, but what do I know about divorce? Well, from a childs point of view, lemme tell you, it sucks on all ends. Discussing it with your kids is a good idea, when they're in their teens.
