Dunno about you, but this "trial separation without dating and so on" Seems to be "I leave you with the kids while I Go out have fun, see other People, cheat on you and so on"

My parent got divorce when I was in HS, and it is a terrible thing for anybody to go though and I wish any parent would make all possible means to prevent such a thing from happening,. But man I Would be Very ummm Cautious about staying with her, especially if it seems she is doing her best to keep you at home and dependent on her. And the Logical Cold Blooded Bastard part of me suggests that if she seems to be cheating, she probably is and you should get as much hard evidence as you can so if push comes to shove and the big D happens you have something to prevent her from weaseling out or screwing you over.

That my advice, Dunno how good it is, I am only on the verge of being an adult so I dunno if any of it is truly good, it's just how I perceive the situation.

BTW how old are your Children, just wondering off hand.

There was a lot of communication and venting and talking, but he just wasn't for me. And we had a baby too, Simon. But I wasn't happy, and I wasn't going to be happy with him because of how different we were.

Not saying this is your situation. But I really would sit back and look and see if you do think you should be together. I wouldn't rely on someone else to change, for either party, to make things work. Because with very stubborn minds, like Jeff and I were, hell could freeze over before that happens.
