Spell Test: Thunder of Karana
I recruiting a level 60 Paladin friend of mine, Eilelin Fenchu, for assistance with this matter.
My unbuffed mana pool is 1345. You can see all of my equipment from my magelo profile below in my sig.
Opening Test:
Start Duel, first attempt resisted, still Full Mana.
First Resisted, Beginning of Second Cast
Second Test:
Successfully landed, noted loss of mana. ~1/3 of bub
At hit
Less effects, easier to see mana loss
Third Test:
Again, successful hit, noted loss of mana, ~1/3 of bub
Total Mana: 1345
Mana Per Bubble: 269
Total Attempts: 3
Success: 2
Mana Loss Expected: 200
Visual loss: 2/3 of a bub or ~200 mana

Besides, it's Delphi; so long as he continues to dig his grave further, I feel compelled to fill in the hole with him inside.

I'm tired of you all being on my case because I believe something with a passion, and defend it until proven wrong. I was proven wrong here, and I can accept it. I'm not a dumbass. I had intended to log in tonight and invite someone with mana into the bazaar arena, and see if it did indeed drop, just to be sure.
Also Nae, depending on where you cast ToK, it would give the "You are protected" message. I know that the Nexus does this because, as one of the NPCs says: "Please refrain from combat here. Until we can do more tests, we are unsure of how magic affects the spires."
Everything is a learning experience. Maybe next time I'll have better proof then my opinion.

Enchanters don't have infinite mana you know, and epic encounters where enchanters prove futile except in Mana Sieving usually also has mesmerizes going with it. This spell is useful spell for raids, and if I were a paladin, it'd be memmed.
It isnt that we are on your case. If you just listened to us every once in awhile, things like this wouldnt happen. Basically this time you screwed up by telling me "I couldnt know because I wasnt a paladin" That isnt going to get a flowery response from me.

One of the most intelligent things I've ever read here.
A few points, however:
-It will be gathering dust in my spellbook because I generally dont go on raids. I solo, and when I solo, its not all that important to take mana away as it is to simply interrupt the spell. I find it easier that way. Plus, I do damage.
-I made two mistakes on these boards a long time ago. I have since apologized, and chaged the way I post. I see Might as someone who can be *really* good at being a paladin, but he does things that are common sense to me. I realize, however, that its HIS character, not mine. I cant change the way he plays just to make me happy. Thats just silly.
If you want to keep on harping on these things just because everyone else is doing it, go right ahead. Its a messageboard. No physical harm can come to me from reading your words, however angry they are. I'll still try to inject a tidbit of humour here and there, and I'll still try to keep away from overly-sensitive topics.
I liked how D replied to my second post where I was calm and whatnot while criticizing me for my first of not being calm. Too late to edit now, I suppose.

It doesnt piss me off. Far from it, I'm really glad he proved me wrong. While I disagree that we should even get a manasieve, (that sort of thing should be left to the masters of the mind. Enchanters!) I do know now that it works.
I said before, I'm not going to get angry and flame you all for proving me wrong. I'm very sorry that I even let it get to the point where Pesco was that angry. I dont like to cause stress. Less stress = Pesco is around longer. We all want that, right?
