It is almost preposterous on my part to advocate your loyalty to Taran. The events of the past three weeks are eloquent in themselves: Our warriors are being restored to remunerative operation; our factories are being open; the drums of war are being sounded, and why may I ask you?
Simply because the Drysart-lovers are being driven from the temple. Simply because the one Elf which held you and myself in bondage for generations is going to be evaporated into the mists of the past. The once great advantages obtained through Drysart are more or less insignificant compared to the greater advantages which the future holds or us.
Sisters and Brothers, this is the day, despite all opposition to the contrary, that you remain steadfast behind the one man who can save this alliance of ours.
It is a war against all followers of Taran. Allied ships have been sunk, Allied lives taken, in ways which it has stirred us very deeply to learn of, but the ships and people of other neutral and friendly followers have been sunk and overwhelmed in the waters in the same way. There has been no discrimination. The challenge is to Dark-kind. Each race must decide for itself how it will meet it. The choice we make for ourselves must be made with a moderation of counsel and a temperateness of judgment befitting our character and our dark motives as an alliance. We must put excited feeling away. Our motive will be revenge and the victorious assertion of the physical might of our alliance, and only the vindication of right, of Taran's right, of which we are only a single champion.
Let's do this.

The logic train ran off the tracks when Black Mage said:
Let's do this.
