I don't see alot of Thieves or Black Mages in the little character info blurbs, but not everyone uses those. 
Which do you guys think I should start as?
Red Mage,
Black Mage?
And which would be ideal as a secondary job later on?
Summoner,
Dark Knight?

Three of us are Monks that I aware of. Me, Joojoo, and Addy. Tal and Lumiin are the only Whitemages, and Rosa is the only blackmage I have seen. The others are all warriors and thieves.

Ryutsuke, Aury, and Falaanla are all going the way of the White Mage.
I'm going Warrior but thought about bringing up Red Mage (got it to 3)... but if Khyron is going Red Mage and will stick around for a long time, I'll give him some of the RM stuff I've been saving up.
I plan on Dragoon/White Mage eventually, but we'll see. Apparently your subjob affects your wyvern as a Dragoon... that's coooool.
Also, if you're going Black Mage, don't go Dark Knight.... same spells, kinda retarded at that point.. Nothing new

And I REALLY hope Aury did. 
I dunno what I'll level next. Maybe once I get 10 as a BLM, I'll go warrior or something. I need the HP.

You have to be 15 for subjobs, and you get the advanced quests at 30... Try www.gamefaqs.com for quest info.
