Let the spell casters be. What do you have against spell casters, anyway? I thought you usually play necromancers...
Spell casters who are 2 inches tall and go around saying, "Aren'taru you having a nicey-wicey day?" Should be impaled on spears and hung up around town.

True, but none are as well suited for it as Tarutaru. In everquest, humans can be wizards, but most people wouldn't play human wizards, would they?

I know tons of human wizards. There are assloads of dark elf necros even though iksar regen makes them superior necros.
And EQ is a bean counter's game, if anything stuff like that should be more common.

You've gotta be joking. You don't see the difference during light battles, but in the fray when the amount of time you have to gather enough power/mana/mp is minimal, your capacity to cast spells is extremely important. Also, races that are more geared to spell casting often get resisted less and are otherwise better casters.

Actually yes I have. On Quetzacoatl, me and a few others are going to be slaying poor Windurstian Tarutaru once nation v. nation is implemented.

Yeah, I'd probably change, but after doing a few of the missions, I'm being drawn into the storyline.
Those tarutarus are sneaky little bastards.
However...
I give much credit to thoes who go that route, its like making the game just a bit more interesting. I've grouped with Talonus, and even though I have twice his mp, he does a great job. He also has almost twice my hp, too, hehe.
