In Windurst there is a shop that sells scrolls for low lvl mages. But for some reason thier white mage spell selection sux. They have like 1/3 of the spell they should have. I'm lvl 5 now and I should be able to use Banish which is usually found in the shop.

Does anyone know the reason for this?

The BM selection isn't very good either. Those shops seem to only have the 1,5,9 spells if I remember correctly. The others you need to find as drops or other random shops and quests.

I had to fork over 1k for banish in the auction house.

However, I did get group protect off one of them beastman casters!

Its because windurst isnt the first place kingdom.

I ran into a Japanese player who explained this to me, and logged on his alt in San D'oria, and bought me banish for 160 gil.

Thats why we don't have a huge selection, though.
