How does one go about un-assifying the graphics? I can live with them being so pixelated and crappy if I have to, but I've heard there's a way to make them better. I just don't know how.

Help me out, if you can.

go into the final fantasy XI configuration you can change the resolution and turn on mip mapping and other things there .

I don't mean just turning the options up. Everything is really pixelated and it doesn't seem right. If it's how it's supposed to look, well, whatever, but I had just heard there was something I could do to help.

Move the graphics to uncompressed.

That will do it.

Check off every box you can EXCEPT the one about simplified details and the hardware mouse. in the dropdown boxes, set that one to Smooth, and the other two to Uncompressed. Then adjust the resolutions you want, and voila.
