A thief with an onion dagger just isn't cutting it at all.

Does anyone have any advice for making a bit of cash early on? I'm trying to save the crystals I'm getting for crafting later on... I can probably part with some of them if I absolutely have to, though.

I need to get a sword and some better armor. The Yagudo and even Crawlers are giving me a hard fight when I'm higher level than them.

Talk around Windurst, and see if theres any quests that involve you just running around the zones abit, they usually net the low hunderds in gil. You can also probably find some trade-in quests that are easy to do and repeatable for cash.

One of the quests I'm working on is that Creepy Crawlies quest, the one that involves the silk threads/calucuses. I've got two of one, and one of the other... Unfortunately, I need three of one of them to get 500 gil.

silk threads are worth ~ 800 gil at AH(auction house) or 10k for a stack. Only use the calculi for this quest
