What do you listen to while playing? I have a ffxi playlist... and here it is!

I don't listen to anything but the game soundtrack. I leave the TV on in the background to listen to. Just the thought of running winamp at the same time as FFXI is scary. my poor framerate!
Backstab is such a negative word. I prefer the term, "invasive back massage."

I have mellow music playing in the background. Sometiemes it's from the FFXI soundtrack (Voyager, Dash de Chocobo, Gustaberg, all come to mind) and sometimes not. Some of the other things I listen to are Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Duncan Sheik, etc. Things that won't drown the game music out, just offering some variety. I make different playlists everytime I log in depending on my mood.

The radio. "The best of the 80's, 90's and today" station. I've never heard a station that actually plays Foreigner... so I listen to them.

Or a variety of others.

Or Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. They go together on my playlist.

Or all of the Final Fantasy music. All of it.

It works fine.

I have WMP up all the time when playing, and no issues. WinAmp should work just fine without issues.
