well, the time of the subjob quest is slowly approaching, and apparently, I don't have the time to wait and pick up ninja, because I've been recently informed nobody likes you unless you have a subclass after lvl 18. Sooo, I need some idea of a subjob I can take until I can grab ninja. I'm a thief btw.

Not to sound overly traditional, but your best/only bet for group play as a thief is to sub warrior.

You don't need a subjob really to get groups. I had a 7whm sub all the way to 30.
