A few people have been saying this, and to be honest, I think they're just trying to put a nice face on things.

I'm typically harsh and rude to the general EC public. Why? I dunno, I seem to do most of it without realizing that it's going to really piss someone off. Perhaps it's just a subconscious mechanism to get rid of the people who irk me.

I'd say, in general, I'm not very likeable.

If KingBling is just blacklisted, chill, Faz. Chances are if he messages Drysart and has a civilized conversation with Drys, he'll get his posting abilities back assuming he behaves himself. When I was RoboMod, 99.9% of my blacklistings for obnoxious/rude/unnecessarily-rude behavior was turned off the next day.

Don't think of blacklisting as a conspiracy; think of it as an enforced cooling off period. If someone behaves, they'll get their ability back.

Even getting banned isn't the end of things. Drys doesn't (that I know of) summarily IP Ban people for a first offense.

All said, this is a chance for you guys to rein in the behavior that earns you a bad reputation. Get it together, get it under control, learn to roll with the punches and think before you speak or act, and you'll be fine.

Go back to the older threads. You'll find that most active posters get banned once.

Why? Everyone has a bad day. Sometimes you go over the limit and do something you wouldn't normally, especially when you keep posting.

I wouldn't call that a very good indicator.

More posts = more chances to get banned.
