He thinks that we're alot alike and wants to be my friend
(You mean like Chucky?)

How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?

How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
(You like how everything is goin'
You like what I gave you?
You know if you was goin' down
I'd be the one to save you!
But yo I need a favor, these cat's across town hate me
Plus their behaviour hasn't been too good lately)
What? anything for you dog
Where them niggas at
(38th and Broadway)
Let me get the Gat
Run up on 'em strapped
Bust off caps on four niggas
Laid low for about a month and killed two more niggas
Now I'm ready to chill but you still want me to kill
(Look at what I did for you dog, come on, keep it real)
Aight, fuck it, I'ma do it, who is it this time
(Hey yo remember that kid Sean you used to be with in 89)

But yo, that's my nigga
(Hey who's your biggest fan? you do it or give me your right hand
That's what you said)
I see now, ain't nothin' but trouble ahead.
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
The Snake, the rat, the cat, the dog
How you gonna see them if you livin in the fog?
In the fog, the fog

How you gonna see them if you livin' in the fog?
How you gonna see them if you livin' in the fog?
The snake, the rat, the cat, the dog.

Anyways, don't you know that rap in fact isn't music!! It's just bad poetry put to background music. So how could it be a song??
I feel stupider having read it.
Rap is as much music as anything else we call music. It is all based around adding instrumentation to poetry.
While I have very eclectic tastes, and like most music from classical to rock, metal to trance, personally I don't care for most rap music.
The monotonous 4/4 beat, created by a drum machine. The lack of any meaning to most of the songs other than "I'm good, you suck" or different ways to get control of your "bitch" "ho" or other derogatory words for women.
The canon for rap music is atrocious and disliking rap is not a race issue, it is a taste issue. If it was a race issue I wouldn't love Jazz or Motown as much as I do.
And in every case, there are exceptions which prove the rule. "I need love." - LL Cool J
But that's just me.
"this sucks much ass"

Rap does have one advantage to it though, it's easy to dance to. Techno/dance/Rave music has the same thing, it's more for danceing to than just listening.
Personaly i like very few rap songs, i tend to like ska, punk, and rock more .
Rap just dosen't appeal to me that much. Oh, I've seen a few groups that manage it well. Cypress Hill springs to mind (Rock Superstar was genius). Just... most of it is shameless self promotion, the musical equivalent to saying "I r0x0r, u sux0r, beeeeeeeeyatch!!!!11". And I dislike that. Very much.
Yeah, I think I'll stay behind with Tool stuck in my Discman... forever
