I have been an anime fan for awhile and im sick of everyone thinking the main charecters are the best so i think that we should talk about them in tribute.

I say mr. PoPo in Dragonball Z, in dragon ball only people who could beat him could meet and train with kame and mr popo was basically unbeatable now veryone makes fun of him

The thing that really turned me off to DBZ was it's predictability.

Goku is in traction.

Goku's friends meet new ultra-unbeatable-mega-super enemy.

Goku's friends get beat up.

Goku heals and goes to meet new ultra-unbeatable-mega-super enemy.

Goku powers up for a few episodes.

Goku goes to "the next level" in order to beat new ultra-unbeatable-mega-super enemy.

Rinse, repeat.

As for unsung anime characters, how about the gun that guy in "Wicked City" used? Ok, so techincally a gun isn't a character, but it was a pretty cool ass gun.

I also liked the laser Kineada (sp?) used in Akira.

Most of my favorite anime characters are inanimate.
