Telltale Games make so much awesome stuff.. Sam and Max episodes for one, all well made and hilarious, but they get overlooked because of their episodic nature.
How appropriate, you fight like a cow.
There was also a release of the remastered MI1. You can get it on STEAM and its also got a nifty feature where you can switch to the old school graphics. It's virtually word for word and shot for shot, done in a style faithful to the original.
I didnt know you were a MI fan.

Oh indeed, I've played them all and loved them all, right back to MI1 on the Amiga 500.
Curse of Monkey Island was good (MI3, cartoon style) but I didn't really like Escape from Monkey Island (MI4, early 3D).
I'm holding out hope for a MI5 with Dominic Armato, but frankly, Lucasarts seems interested in nothing but Star Wars these days.
A sequel to Loom would be cool too, but again, doubtful.
My favourite bit from MI3.
Might as well have been called Pirates of Monkey Island.
I bought it before I headed off for work last Wed. I came home from work and promptly beat it.
Still, I'm not too upset. If I bought the entire game, it would probably cost me $40 to $60. I paid $10 for the first chapter (less because I had a deal on Nintendo points). I'll reserve full judgement until the entire game is released (they are putting out one chapter at a time).
edit:
from wikipedia...

Ron Gilbert often has said that the Monkey Island computer game series was inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction (and vice versa he believes, upon seeing the new movie), although he has said that he mainly got his inspiration from Tim Powers' book On Stranger Tides. Within both the film and the Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge adventure game is a key-carrying dog named Walt, whose name is a nod to Walt Disney.
