I just got done watching, and I swear, there were so many moments when I cried. I am so totally happy that Jamie Foxx won for Ray, I have been dying to see that film, and I haven't yet. I just knew it had to be awesome.

This was one of my favorite years for the show, they did an awesome job on the set and everything.

I also have to say I totally LOVED Antonio Banderas and Santana doing that song together, just wow.

Santana was cool. Antonio needs voice lessons, but he could be awesome. I'm glad that song won. Why the hell was there so much Beyonce?

A gripe: the mermaid dresses. What the FUCK. Why so many. Ghuh. Boring.

I just caught the end, but it looked like they did a pretty good job.

I was reading the other day and they said that women were going to try to go for the old-fashioned glam of the golden days of Hollywood.

Seems to me they could have done that without so many mermaid dresses. Most of them didn't even look like they fit.

I liked Antonio's voice, I think he does well. Like in Avita.

Santana is one of my demi-gods.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of mermaid/princess dresses. There was, like, two outfits in the entire show I liked, and that was Johnny Depp's and Prince's. The women were terribly unoriginal. Rargh.

Yeah. Everyone in my house payed attention when that song came on. We were like, "Oh fuck! Santana! *WATCHWATCH*".

I'm not terribly impressed with Antonio's voice. He has a decent amount of natural talent, but no polish. As said, with voice lessons he'd be good, but as it stands... ehhh.

As for me, I like watching all the nerds who aren't used to this thing win awards and nerve out while doing their speech .

No kidding. That was one of the high points of the night for me.

I wasn't too impressed with Chris Rock. "And now our next four presenters, Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz, ah hur hur hur..."

Chris Rock isn't meant to be on network TV.
I don't know how to be sexy. If I catch a girl looking at me and our eyes lock, I panic and open mine wider. Then I lick my lips and rub my genitals. And mouth the words "You're dead."

Yeah, the Motorcycle Diaries song was great. I have yet to see that movie.. looks good though. Has anyone seen it?

Overall I'm happy with the winners. I didn't get to see Ray so I honestly can't say whether I think Jamie Foxx deserved Best Actor, but his speech was definitely the best acceptance speech said that night. ^_^

Million Dollar Baby was a good movie.

YES Edna was the best with Pierce Brosnan! XD

I thought the acceptance speech done all in Spanish (for best song, IIRC) was the best speech in the past few years.
