Differences:
Power Bolt - Very weak damage, useless after you get more than 3 attacks... You may as well use brawl.
Stun - Nice disorient, but it's melee... Chances are, you'll lose more health getting close enough to use this than you would just running a bit and blasting the baddie.
Hover/Fly - They're quite good while Snipe is really powerful, but hideously slow compared to the other travel powers. Knockback will keep you from having to worry about mobs getting in melee range, anyways.
Added in Acrobatics because holds tend to be the biggest killer at higher levels, and Combat Jumping because extra defense never hurts.
You could switch out invisibilty and Phase Shift for hover/fly or whatever, they aren't terribly useful overall, save for Hamidon raids and a few other situations.
Oh, and many groups will hate you, because knockback is the debil. Seriously screws up everyone else's aoe effects.

Not if you know what you are doing.
Hover over what you're fighting. fly to it with fly. blast from there. stuff falls down but doesn't go flying out of AE effects.

Which is next to never. If I'm tanking and have an energy blaster Energy Torrent all the mobs out of my effective US area (especially considering I don't have Invincibility yet), screw them. They can deal with their new friends!
I'm personally more fond of Fire blasters, but yeah, they're sickly overpowered, which is why I stopped playing mine. I'll see about it when the nerf bat comes around (and by god, I hope it does).

I just hope the nerf bat doesn't hit too hard. I have a fire blaster that's based off of an old Champions character (someone else from that game has ones based off of their characters from that game too). He's fun, and I love to play him, but it's gonna suck if they nerf him below where he should be.
Which reminds me, I need to play him some more. Lugh needs his SuperSpeed power, gotta get him to 14.

I've been duo'ing in Terra Volta with an even level Fire/Devices blaster recently. He and i can take large groups of anything in there 2-3 levels above us with stupid ease and kill it all very quickly and efficiently. I Fort him and hang back to heal him since my damage is useless and he can usually kill an entire group of level 27 Sky Raider Lts in about 20 seconds. This was when we were level 23. Now that we're 25 it's even easier. I seriously think that given enough time we could duo the Sister Psyche TF.

The currently proposed nerf against them (Well, aoe blasters in general) is pretty soft-handed... They plan on doing is increasing the hp of minions by enough that blasters won't be able to kill them in 1-2 hits anymore, making it so the blaster has to be able to survive the aggro once they've attacked. To compensate, though, the exp given by minions will be increased by the same ratio as their hp. Meanwhile, Scrappers are getting bonus chances to crit on LTs and Bosses, and Tanker and Controller love are coming soon, so they're trying to balance upwards instead of nerfing downwards like most other MMOs.
Oh, and flying to use the aoes might work a bit better, Faal, but it just takes so much more time and effort than any other blaster, when the knockback just doesn't give any real benefit. :/
I thought hurdle was only a minor increase to jumping power, and what's the point in having two travel powers?
It's not gamebreaking, but i can easily outrun another hero with Super Jump who doesn't have Hurdle.
But ya, i do agree with the whole Super Jump and Super Speed thing.
