Well, no, you don't. Neither do I.

Because it's waiting for me at the AMC 16 theatres, and it does say 1 Adult for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines at 11:30 AM.

Last Action Hero ruled.

And I never got Collateral Damage. Siskel(or maybe it was after he died and whoever it was took his place!) and Ebert gave it two thumbs up.

Now, I'm not one of those people who put a lot of stock in movie reviewers. None at all, in fact. I think it's an incredibly stupid concept at it's very foundations. But, Siskel and Ebert usually have good taste. If I happen to see, 'TWO THUMBS UP!' -Siskel and Ebert on the poster or box or commercial or whatever, it's a very good chance I'll like it too when I get around to seeing it.

But wtf, Collateral Damage wasn't even good in the brainless Arnold movie way.

You smell that? Do you smell that? ...Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like... victory.

Wtf...

Last Action Hero, was an AWESOME movie. The only reason it suffered is because it went head to head with Jurrassic Park, the marvel of the time. Typically most people who gave it the time of day regardless LOVED it, and it has done seriously well on post-release. In fact it's STILL a cool movie.

Twins and Junior also rocked, as did Kidergarten Cop, and hell just about everything else I can remember him in, at least for one sit through. The only film I haven't seen with him in it is Collateral Damage, and since I am willing to trust Sean's opinion on that one, it is probably one of the few exceptions.

Hell even Arnolds old, idiot movie, Herculese in New York was slightly entertaining (Past the bad edit job) as a horribly bad B-Movie...

Reloaded was pretty weak (okay, I get it, it's about predetermination; shut up and let's move along), and in any case, the story was always intended as a trilogy. The fact that they and RotK are coming out in the Year of the Sequel is just an unlucky coincidence.

And I forgot to mention Dumb and Dumberer.

Collateral Damage wasn't too bad.

The reason the movie pissed me off so bad was I sat down with my Palm VIIx in my pocket and wound up shattering the screen. Discovered this half way through the movie when I went to check the time on it.
