No really, just wondering what breath attacks do the different color dragons have? I know Red n Orange have Fire, I beleive Black n Purple have Acid, and I think White n Blue have like ice or lightning or something, no clue about Green or any other colors. Anyone care to inform me?

Red have fire.
Green have chlorine gas.
Blue have lightning.
White have ice.
Black have acid.

hmm alright then I have to use my imagination, or rather, yours, to think what would a purple dragons breath attack?
Some corrosive acid.
While I think black should have some diseasous gas. [ 05-18-2003: Message edited by: Skaw ]

Orange would be Cheese.
Purple.. I think purple would have a sort of choking gas to it, not poison, just something to asphyxiate.

"A yellow dragon's breath weapon is a 70'long cone of salt (sodium chloride) crystals, 2 feet wide at the dragons mouth and 15 feet at the base. Creatures caught in the salty spray must save vs. breath weapon or have their bodies - especially eyes, ears, nose, and mouth-encrusted with salt."
"An orange dragons breath weapon is a 60' long stream of pure liquid sodium, five feet wide at the dragon's mouth. Sodium burns when exposed to air; the oily saliva of the dragon prevents premature ignition in the dragon's mouth."
"A purple dragons breath weapon is pure energy, a deadly combination of the fire and lightning of its red and blue parents. By flexing certain muscles of the throut and mouth, the dragon can form its blast three different ways: as a cloud 40 feet long, 30 feet wide, and 20 feet high; as a cone 75 feet long, 5 feet wide at the dragons mouth and 25 feet at the base; or as a tightly focused beam of energy, 2'6 inches wide by one foot high for its entire length, up to 100 feet."

There's one type that spews an alcohol spray. Fort save or become inebriated for x number of rounds (all sorts of penalties to combat)
There's a "gauss dragon" whose metallic hide is highly magnetic (weapons that strike the beast risk becoming stuck to it), and who breathes the equivalent of a high powered force lance.

In case you were wondering, the traditional D&D dragon fires as follows:
White - Ice
Green - Poison Gas
Red - Traditional Fire
Black - Acid
Blue - Lightning
Brass - Traditional Fire or Cone of Sleep
Bronze - Lightning or Cone of Repulsion Gas
Copper - Acid or Cone of Slow Gas
Gold - Traditional Fire or Cone of Weakening Gas
Silver - Ice or Cone of Paralyzing Gas
Dragon Turtle - Cone of Superheated Steam
I dont have the other various Monster Manuals or Monsters of Faerun on me, so I dont know the other dragon breaths off the top of my head.
