He's so sick...
He hardly eats, and is skin and bones. When my mother went to pick to pick him up today, he staggered - he can't even stand up straight anymore.
We don't have enough to go to the vet to see what is wrong, but we can't let him starve himself.

To many people, pets are as close as family members. To people like Mister Bling, pets also happen to BE family members. But in either scenario, losing one can be extremely difficult and extremely painful.
But for some they're just pets, and losing one just means getting a new one.
I loved that dog, she will always be remembered in my heart.
It's going to be hard, because you have so much love to give that you can't help but love everything around you. But know that iw will be peaceful and painless, and then the suffering will be over for her (him?), but it's not nearly over for you. There will be a big part of your heart missing tomorrow, and i gope that you'll one day be able to remember nothing but happiness when you think of loved ones lost, and forget the parting.

In the end, he was a good pet, was he not? He comforted you when you needed it, and brought joy to your life.
He can die knowing he served his purpose well.
And all the good pets get to visit us and meet us when it is our time to go. Sometime when you don't quite expect it, you will feel her brush up against you. Just like she used to do. Remember that it is her way of letting you know that everything is okay and she is still with you the best she can.
