Evidently it came unplugged.
Open case, plug back in.
Now, this is strange. Whenever it damn well pleases, itll rattle really loud and make a noise like you stuck a piece of paper in it or something. Itll stop anywhere from a half second to 15 seconds later.
Does anyone know how to freaking stop it from doing this (other than by unplugging, that is)
it turns out it is the processor fan that is making this strange noise.
It doesnt stop it from spinning, it just makes this noise every once in awhile.
Maybe its time to replace the fan.
My god, how does everyone else get fans that seem to last forever, yet mine always die after 6 months max?

You sure it's just not dirty?
Just tried spraying it with some canned air.
Lets see if that does the trick.
Someday, I'll do some serious upgrading again, and I'll have to get rid of it at that time anyway. Till then, I just keep an ear out to make sure it's really running.
Two words for ya with fans Ball Bearings Sleeve bearings suck. I had 6 Panasonic Panaflow fans in my last case...2 years or so. Sold the case...kept the fans. Also if you have your fans at an angle it can cause a problem...so I have been told. Fans are also effected by heat like everything else...my thought has been to much air is better than not enough...granted not everyone likes to have a case that can suck a business card to the grill from a foot away...

Well, it's certainly not the way Koolance made your case because I know damn well that uses a fan-radiator system.
So what'd you modify?
