Jocks/Cheerleaders
"Goths" (I use that term lightly, they THINKG they're goths ^.^)
Drug Users
Normal People
Anime Fans/Computer Geeks/DnD Players! (Yay! ^.^)
It is actually kind of sad, I wish everyone could just get along with eachother =(
Well, what about your school?
That's about it I think. [ 08-15-2002: Message edited by: Ryuujin the Leezard ]
I had a social spectrum around here somewhere...
Preps [ 08-15-2002: Message edited by: Tegadil ]
Jocks/Cheerleaders
Half-Preps
Skaters
Posers
Punks
Anti-Preps
And Goths

Ryuujin the Leezard had this to say about Matthew Broderick:
Punks
wannabe Goths
Bad Boys (a sub-catergory of jocks, really)
Geeks
Jocks/Preppies
BlacksThat's about it I think.

Welcome to the 100 person school!
REAL punk and Ska is all underground ^.^
People I know and like
People I know and Dislike
People I don't know
What other people tell me
Popular
Punk
Goth
Nerd
Jock
(WHERE DO I FIT IN?)
quote:
Tegadil had this to say about dark elf butts:
Very very.I had a social spectrum around here somewhere...
Preps
Jocks/Cheerleaders
Half-Preps
Skaters
Posers
Punks
Anti-Preps
And Goths
Highly confusing
"good" people
Diet coke of punk/goth
Popular
Geeks
The people who dont fit into any of those
and finally,
me
We're mainly geeks/gamers/roleplayer etc. of all kinds with a few "bad boys" that tend to get ignored and who just generally keep to themselves.
Preps
geeks
backpackers/goths
stoners
and of course you had the few loners like me.
quote:
Archer-Janet stopped staring at Deedlit long enough to write:
Ours has the stereotypical group:
Drug Users
I have trouble making friends, am kind of shy, and don't really like to talk much. when people do talk to me, I'm very friendly. But I usually have a very straight face, no smile and a hard stare. Just the way I've always been.
Soccer guys + girls
Football
Dirties
Computer gaming....people
Party-goers
Maybe?
Druggies/skaters: comprised of gang members and the like, they were cool as long is you didnt run around with a red bandana
Anime/gamer geeks(me): the name says it all
hardcore prepies: stupid stuck up people
Ghetto prepies (also known as skanky bitches)
annoying women with loose morals and too tight clothing (it was disgusting)
"normal" people: mostly Misc. people that dont fit into any other group, and they have semi groups in them too, but to many to list
then there is the ultimate evil of having a highschool and middleschool combined
the middleschoolers: most of them had their ego stuck up so high that i found it hard not to just at least give them a well placed kick to the face(i never did though )
quote:
Hamster Mack Boo had this to say about pies:
annoying women with loose morals and too tight clothing
I fail to see the problem
j/k
quote:
Kinanik had this to say about Reading Rainbow:

they looked like they were beaten with an ugly stick also
popele tryign to be ghetto but failing horribly
like 5 or 6 skater/goth/punk
me sitting queitly in the corner all confused
sdl, thats pretty much my school, ohwell, atleast the school work is close to none, teachers dont care if you sleep in class, and its easy to pass
quote:
Black Mage had this to say about the Spice Girls:
Segregation is all in your head.
And at the lunch table.
Freaks (Those strange, but all around cool people. Some call themselves Goths, but nah.)
We have no true goths.
Computer geeks (I sorta fit into this one)
Anime freaks
Straight A students (Oddly, they all seem to be preps)
Preps
Prep-wannabes
Outcasts (This is me. We get along with everyone in the school, yet rarely have good or close friends.)
quote:
We were all impressed when Giantt wrote:
Practically not at all. The vast majority of us get along just fine. Can I go to your school?
My school just has:
People who are popular
The rough and tough people
Everyone else
Fucking assholes.
Anyway. The old alma mater was generally divided as such:
~ Preps
~ The Football team (Go Cougars! )
~ The Angst-Ridden Goth Poets' Society
~ Primps (the opposite of a preppy girl; think about the name and you'll figure it out )
However, I am apart of a very small group of people, that hates everyone. Espically Goths.
Cthulhu
As you may have guessed, I really DIDN'T LIKE Highschool.
Jocks
Nerds
Skateboarders
Rejects
Goths
Cheerleaders (who controlled the yearbook, thus managing to dominate it entirely)
Hispanics (they spoke their own language, so they hung out together)
Among my closest friends were a member of the Hispanic clique and a Jock/Nerd crossover. I hung out a lot with the Hispanics and the Skateboarders, competed with the Jocks in phys ed, and spent most of my class time in with the Nerds (of whom I was one, and still am).
The Nerds, Loners, and Preps, are all stoners.
So I guess you could just say we have stoners.
where are all the metalheads? That was a clique all it's own.
Well due to the fact that it's a small school, we're basically one big family. :-/

We died in 1995.
Actually never had too much problem with segregation issues, because our school system was "legally" segregated.. Two highschools less than a block apart, one was Elsik 90% black 10% everything else, Hastings 60% everything else, 40% black. Not to be racist or anything, but blackness was a clique all it's own when I was in Highschool, and where I grew up, this wasn't a good thing if you were white. I still managed to have black friends, so never any serious complications after my freshman year, but it did manage to brood distrust.
Freshman/Sophmore year is really only BAD years as far as cliques go in my school. By the time you are a junior/senior, there is enough maturity to counterbalance it, and everyone generally gets along. Yeah, you still have your "tighte" groups, but for the most part, no caste system anymore.
I had no group, I was part all belonged to none. My friends were Jocks/Nerds/Thespians/DnDers, you name it. I dated cheerleaders, I dated nerds. I had no social hangups. I had my few close/good friends, that were more neighborhood than school. So that was never an issue, if I wasn't accepted for a certain person, well didn't bother me none. etc.

Actually I do belong in the social group where they're into alternative rock/heavy metal. I have a couple friends who are into Zeplin, Def Lepard(Sp?), etc.

Def Leppard, and technically those bands are Hard Rock.
They kicked ass, the good ones like Ratt, Def Leppard, Skid Row, Wildside... All gone now.
[Edit: Correction, Def Leppard, just released Def Leppard - X, a new CD. I still have yet to check it out though, must get to store.] [ 08-15-2002: Message edited by: Faelynn LeAndris ]
