Well, it wouldn't be very secure if it was easy to get by, now would it?

Now go do your homework. You spend too much time in front of the PC anyway.

Why is simply obeying your parents not an option?

Jiminy.

Read a book, or something, if you're so allergic to interaction with the real world. Or watch the news on TV and find out about what's happening in the rest of the world.

I dont know the password on my parents computer, and its the only one in the house that can has these games installed, or will run them properly. The XP computer is a 1.5 gig 16meg video card with 256 ram and all the wonders of gaming. My parents are in portland, OR while my mother has leg surgery and they turned off guest mode for some reason while they were gone.

I have read books, I finished reading R.A. Salvatores Cleric Quintet Last night. I do interact with the real world Bloodsage, I placed first in a Martial Arts tourneyment sunday, and will be going to a CS tournyment in about 30 minutes.

Sure, some of them do.

But not letting the kids play videogames isn't on any list of bad parenting traits I've ever seen.

Especially if they deliberately disabled guest mode--sounds intentional.

Not getting everything one wants != abuse.

So neener.

I went skateboarding. I went to a concert. I rented movies. I watched Alien. I played AvP2. I played CS. I listened to music. I worked on Oz's script. I went skateboarding again. I thought up a new song. I fought crime.

All in all, today was a good day.

Can't you call your parents and ask them for the password or a method to get in?

I highly doubt they left you with no way to contact them ...

And you can still be free, If time will set you free

And go high like the wind don't stop...

Try to find out the password. Think of something the like alot. My parent had the password as my name (not to hard to find out for me after a while) It might be written somewhere. OR you could totally reformat it but you have to redownload EVERYTHING this is a last resort.

oh yeah you can call the hardware people and they have an administrative code that lets you get in but you're not supposed to call that. use that as a before the last resort. when you get the password you can set up a new account (that's what I do) that way you don't need your parent's an dyou can have files only you can open (VERY useful privacy.)

Yeah, you could reformat everything, but then you'd be really farking stupid.

"Oh, Hi, mom, I just reformatted the computer, it's now running MS-DOS, and, uh, yeah, that's about it... umm... so... WORDstar anyone?"

You could just, you know, wait for them to get home. Obviously they don't want you playing your games.

My dad has some sort of phobia bout me downloading computer viruses. It did happen, this was 5 years ago and I was able to correct by making a new login name for win95. The entire "virus" was simply a script that made all files un-accessable when accessed from account "allen", on account "allen2" their werent any problems. I still havent heard the end of it
