I think some guy is finished with everything, except half of the dialogue.
I'm using the walkthrough at http://www.classicgaming.com/ff1/ as my translation. Sure, it doesn't have the extra storyline and stuff that was added in the WSC version, but it'll get me through the game.

My computer froze a little while ago, and i lost levels 5-7 worth of work. In FF1, you should KNOW how much that is.
You seem to start out with a bit more gold (although I think I'm imagining things on that), more HP and more L1 spells...

It's both easier and harder, in different respects. You start out with the same amount of money, and no L1 spells. there are still 4 black and 4 white magic spells per level, and you have to choose 3.
Bugs like wasting a turn if one of your party members kills a monster and another one was set to attack it next, have been fixed.
From what I've seen, monsters are harder to kill, give less EXP, but give more G.
Also, your inventory consists of an extra slot to put shields in, so you can wear gloves and shields at the same time.

You used to be able to select "use" on any piece of armor or weapon in your inventory, even ones without effects.
You can't do this anymore. I used to abuse that to strech out the last mob on some fights to regen HP via Heal Helm/Staff or to test out spells for resistability (have the fighter and thief waste their turn while the WM and BM chuck spells)....

Yeah, you can still use items that have effects (at least the WT's indicate that you can on the WSC version and if you couldn't use anything like that, that would be a useless menu option), but they took away my INTENTIONAL turn wasting technique....
