What is this passage? Where does it go? I'm a troll shaman in Neriak and I was looking for the alleged shaman trainers that were there (ha ha ha very funny they're listed on all the maps but none of them actually exist in Neriak).

I noticed the map links off of Allakhazam and EQVault all lack this passage. I know I'm not the first to discover the stupid thing, but I am curious as to what it is.

Nothing, I'm afraid. The false floor extends out into a comma-shaped room, and the only exits are the way you came in, or straight down.

I always thought there should be more to EQ, like something to do or find when you explore like this, but apparently Verant has neither the technology nor the motivation to enrich the game in such a way.

Yep, that would be in the Third Gate zone of Neriak, in the basement of the bar, off one of the rooms, through the wall. Nothing in there though, just an empty room with some barrels, if I remember correctly. I spent way too long trying to find a way to my shadownight guild(back before there were extensive maps on the internet, or at least before I knew where to find them). Before I finally found it, I had found that secret room, as well as the larger secret passage Ja'Deth mentioned. I also knew all of Neriak like the back of my hand.

My first character on the first day was a DE SK . . . but I was so totally pwned by Neriak that I started over as an Erudite Wizard. Toxx wasn't great, but it was easier than Neriak!
