It was very awkward at first. I was very shy of being with another girl in public and because of that I was very stand-offy. But it was lots of fun

Yeah, maybe a few people will look. But those people aren't going to automatically think "oh my god she's sooooooo bi." If they do, screw them. Their opinion of you shouldn't matter anyway, because they're morons (I know that won't stop you from caring about it).
Everybody else has things to do. People don't have a spidersense that goes off every time two people of the same gender hold hands or even kiss. I know it's easy to think they do, but they don't. They're probably too absorbed in whatever they're doing to know you exist.
