Hey everyone!! ^_^ Elly here! I don't know how many of you remember me, but, I decided I'd check in with the EC gang. Mostly I think people from #Rpcrest would know me most...anyways though... (Hiya Addy, Aeadil, Demitri, Ocy! ^_^)
Japan is the coolest place i've ever been, EVER.
Things are a tad bit expensive, but, bearable. I thought I'd be behind in school a lot...I kinda am, I'm in special ed MATH (>_> ) but other then that, I'm doing good in school.
Ladies: Japanese guys seem to dig American girls..I've been hit on so many times i'm getting bruises ^_^
It's really funny to see/hear Japanese versions of our music. You have not heard madness until you've heard japanese rap 0_0
Jap. Teens seem to also really like western clothes/music/TV. They're big into MTV here, no one misses TRL, hehe. But a funny thing, teens will wear shirts with english words in sentences that make no sense whatsoever! It's rather amusing. Speaking of English, the English teacher has had me teaching classes ^_^ I feel special.
Also, Anime is, for the most part, as much of a subculture here as it is in the good ole' USA. Granted manga is easier to find, but be careful, it's packaged to it's hard to see the covers mostly, so you don't know if you're getting Hentai or not in the backstreet shops.
Well, it's getting late and I have to study my bootay off! Oh, Ian (OP) has acess to my DAoC account (50 Cleric) he has permission to let people play at will, I dunno, maybe he's having to much fun with it.

I got a cousen who was a foriegn exchange student in japan in highschool and tghen visited her host family a few itmes and spent a few years in collage over their, and according to her (shes blond) the guys their just randomly walk up to her and touch her hair

Anyways, the only time she can get online for personal things is in school, the students are allowed 5 minutes of personal time, this means she goes right to e-mail, since long distance calls are a bitch. She's gotten used to the Japanese Keyboard somewhat, but they have English ones for the English class
